VITO has a central facility for image processing, archiving and distributing remote sensing images from various camera types. Our facility forms part of the European network and complies with GMES and INSPIRE requirements. We also have an extensive range of instrumentation to perform field measurements. This equipment is available to companies. We are also developing an innovative earth observation system for operational monitoring assignments.
Our calculation facilities are at your service
Would you like to retrieve relevant information from satellite data or aerial photos yourself? Then use our information architecture, hardware and software. VITO has specialised processing and archiving facilities (PAF) to generate practical earth observation images. This allows you to:
- Analyse images yourself
- Use our on-site calculation facility
- Use calculation equipment remotely in order to process large quantities of data located elsewhere.
Use our specialised instrumentation
VITO has an extensive range of measurement equipment at its disposal. Are you, for example, looking for an instrument to calibrate your cameras? Then we will make the required spectrophotometers available to you. We are able to offer a complete range of instruments.
Our platform for various cameras and sensors
VITO is currently developing an innovative unmanned aircraft. We are able to equip the HALE-UAV (High Altitude Long Endurance Aerial Unmanned Vehicle) with various cameras, depending on the needs of the end user. It is also possible to integrate your own sensors into our platform.
