Optimising your welding method
When welding materials, accuracy is crucial for perfect bonding without losing sight of the aesthetic and economic aspects. Laser welding is faster and causes less deformation than classic welding methods. You are also able to automate large parts of the welding process. You thus immediately improve the efficiency of your production process.
VITO is thoroughly familiar with laser technology. We can advise you on all the possibilities offered by laser welding. Metals or synthetic materials, thin tubes or thick plates – we are able to effortlessly create a customised bond. Invisible welding seams are also possible. We have a unique laser centre at our disposal with various laser types.
VITO also sets up small test series.
Improving gluability
The bond that glue forms with a material often causes problems. VITO uses plasma activation to improve the gluability of surfaces. We continuously subject new materials to extensive gluing tests. This allows us to support you in your product innovations.
Testing the weld quality
It is often interesting to first test the application on a limited series, before you permanently implement it. For this VITO develops a start-up series. We also perform technical and economic feasibility analyses and then support you during implementation.
