Bridging the gap between technology and economy
VITO recently investigated whether its services meet the expectations of the Flemish industry. One third of the respondents are likely to spontaneously name VITO as a possible research partner. For a quarter of them VITO is already “top of mind”. Flemish companies associate VITO in the first place with high quality knowledge and expertise, technological innovation, competent employees, independence and objectivity. When assessing the expectations of technological support, high quality knowledge and expertise as well as practically applicable solutions come top of the list. Existing clients cite exactly these elements as being the added value offered by VITO for their procedures. They are also happily prepared to recommend VITO, which also marks the quality of the supplied work and confirms the trust in VITO. The survey also showed that VITO should pay even more attention to the concrete contents of its activities in its external communication.
VITO also guarantees reliable results in policy supporting research on the instructions of local, Flemish, federal and European governments. This is why VITO is also a preferred partner for the Government and collaborates on the economic and social feasibility of policy.
