Route description to VITO - Berchem

By train

  • All trains to Antwerp, except the Thalys high-speed train, stop at Berchem station
  • When leaving the platform, take the exit at the side of the higher platform numbers
  • Turn left and cross the ‘Singel’ road ‘(after approx. 100 m from the exit)
  • Continue in this direction, keeping the railway tracks at your left
  • After around 1300 m you arrive at your destination, Roderveldlaan 5
  • Our offices are on the 1st floor

By car
Coming from Breda/Antwerpen Noord

  • On the Antwerp Ring, take exit no. 3 ‘Antwerpen Centrum-Borgerhout’
  • At the end of the exit turn right and immediately after that left, onto the ‘Singel’ road
  • Follow the Singel until just after the tunnel under the railway tracks (Berchem station)
  • Turn left, and continue over approx. 1200 m, which brings you to the destination
  • Our offices are located on the 1st floor

Coming from Eindhoven/Turnhout/Mol/Hasselt (E313-E34)

  • Get off the highway at the last exit, no. 17, which is located at the left side (!)
  • At the end of the exit, turn left (towards Berchem) onto the ‘Singel’ road
  • Follow the Singel until just after the tunnel under the railway tracks (Berchem station)
  • Turn left, and continue over approx. 1200 m, which brings you to the destination
  • Our offices are located on the 1st floor

Coming from Brussel/Mechelen (E19)

  • When getting near Antwerp, enter the Craeybeckx tunnel on the fourth lane (counted from the right side) 
  • Take the exit ‘Antwerpen Centrum’
  • Turn to the right on the ‘Singel’ towards Berchem
  • Continue on the Singel until just before the tunnel under the railway tracks  of Berchem station
  • Turn right, and continue over approx. 1200 m, which brings you to your destination
  • Our offices are located on the 1st floor

Coming from Gent/Antwerpen-Linkeroever/Antwerpen-Zuid (E17)

  • On the Antwerp Ring, take exit 5 (near the Holiday Inn Hotel) indicating ‘Berchem’ 
  • Turn to the left, and when arriving at the ‘Singel’ road turn to the right (towards Berchem)
  • Continue on the Singel until just before the tunnel under the railway tracks  of Berchem station
  • Turn right, and continue over approx. 1200 m, which brings you to your destination
  • Our offices are located on the 1st floor
