ASSESSING AIR QUALITY IN MODERN OFFICE BUILDINGS
On average, we spend up to 90 % of our time surrounded by four walls. Consequently, not only the air pollution outside, but also the quality of indoor air deserves our full attention. It after all also affects our health and our quality of life. Asthma, heart and vascular diseases, and general irritation or discomfort can be the result of contaminated indoor air. In the European project OFFICAIR, VITO together with other research partners is investigating the air quality in modern office buildings.
