As a policy maker in environmental management you need access to decision support systems tailored to you needs. Moreover, you often may want to involve stakeholders at an early phase in decision making. However, many of the existing environmental instruments can only by operated and interpreted by key specialists and are not fit for communication to interested non-specialist parties.
In the recent past, VITO has developed a set of sensor and ICT instruments that allow reshaping by the end-users and/or interaction with stakeholders. These instruments are grouped under the name “MyEnvironment”.
