The Energy Technology Unit is responsible for determining how we can put more renewable energy on the electricity grid, so called smart grids. For this, we need both the new knowledge of young people and the experience of product developers.
A large part of the energy and environmental issues is related to producing things. Items are made and then often thrown away. According to the new philosophy of cradle to cradle, this needs no longer be the case. Waste can also be used to make new products. But how best to do this? And in this, how to deal with energy, and how to set this up properly?
The question that is increasingly being asked is “what is the real effect of our policy?”. The answer to this requires information on the environment.
To meet this growing demand for ‘high-detail geo information’, we are continuously looking for additional, highly qualified colleagues. They will be deployed in the development and optimization of image processing chains for satellite and aerial photos.
