We focus on the processing, archiving and dissemination of several types of remote sensing data and products. On the low resolution side, SPOT-VEGETATION data are processed and distributed, as well as decadal syntheses on METOP-AVHRR. Additionally, products related to environmental monitoring are generated from these data.
On the high resolution side, a generic processing chain for airborne high resolution data was developed. This chain allows the processing of imagery originating from airborne whiskbroom and pushbroom scanners, photogrammetric digital frame cameras and video cameras. Also the data captured by the new airborne hyperspectral sensor of ESA, APEX, will be processed with this chain. State-of-the-art Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) are being developed and operated to disseminate all these data & products.
