Project Objectives
Multiplatform approach to situation awareness:

  • Provide and demonstrate value to end-users involved in crisis management,
  • Provide an integration framework serving security applications to the multiple related initiative,
  • Develop the technological bricks and standards allowing for the rapid take up of this multiplatform approach by members states.

Methodology
User Driven approach: the project largely involves the end-user community through pre-existing contacts with the partners of the consortium, through direct involvement of 3 end-users as full partners of the project and via a “Wise Guys Panel” that will meet twice a year during the duration of the project. Customization and integration of already existing UAS systems into a larger system. Combination with serious games.

(Expected) Results

  • Development of a performing Low altitude UAS system at VITO,
  • Increasing performances of the system developed during the OSIRIS project,
  • First step of VITO-TAP in the EU Security World
